After decades of neglect this charming farmhouse, build in 1886, has been restored and stands proudly at the bottom of Kanonberg, just north of the Tygerberg Nature Reserve. With the assistance of experts and the National Heritage Council, this beautiful farmhouse was lovingly restored to its present condition. The buildings and three very old oak trees have been listed as a national heritage.

We are a fully functioning restaurant and are open for DINNER, LUNCH and BREAKFAST, Tuesday till Saturday, LUNCH and BREAKFAST on Sunday’s. Bring Dad to watch sport in the Bar while mom relaxes in the Garden or next to the Fireplace. We have a lovely outside play area that is ideal for the kids

We are able to host WEDDINGS, BIRTHDAY PARTIES, GALA DINNERS and CONFERENCES. We regularly host KITCHEN TEAS and STORK PARTIES.

We have numerous FUNCTION ROOMS available inside the farmhouse each creating a unique, personal, warm and cozy atmosphere. Our garden facility provides an idyllic setting with a touch of nostalgic flair and a historical ambiance.

All parties include use of outside play area, weather permitting

We offer full party supervision, games, tent building and other planned activities.

Choose Face Painting, Party Packs, Themed birthday cake, Kiddies’ meal and juice, incorporate kiddies baking into the party or use it as a stand alone event.
