SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOP PROGRAM AT PLANET KIDS

Date: 27th September - 1st October 2010
Venue:
3 Wheery Road, Muizenberg
Times: 09h00 - 16h00
The spring holiday programme is focused on the element of WATER! This week long program will involve the creation of a short audio-visual piece...in other words the children will be making a short film. The focus of the film will be guided by issues of conservation and sustainability. However the specific content will be determined by the children who come on the holiday program, their interests and experiences. The group will collaboratively develop the idea. Then we will figure out who is going to do what...there are so many roles to play in the process: developing a script, building a set, doing interviews, filming, editing, taking pictures, setting up a viewing. In between all of this work, we will enjoy the natural beauty of the South Penninsula. It is going to be an exciting journey!!!
